we’re the collective.
The Collective is an electrifying six-piece band from New Glasgow, Nova Scotia who are currently making waves in the local music scene with their unique, genre-defying blend of indie-pop dance grooves that consistently leave their audiences wanting more.
Fronted by soulful and incomparably powerful vocalist Leah Samson and charismatic pop-hook singer-songwriter Niki Campbell, the band's sound is an eclectic mix of electronic and organic, inspired equally by the time-honoured traditions of classic R&B and blues as well as the influence of modern dance and pop music. Featuring guitarist Kyle Samson, bassist Michelle Tracey, drummer Jay MacLeod, and multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Brett MacDougall, The Collective are known for their energetic and engaging live performances, their natural on-stage chemistry, and most importantly, their unparalleled ability to fill a dance floor with their irresistible sonic magnetism.

With a broad local fan base that seems to be expanding by the day, The Collective offers an unforgettable live music experience.
